Scott serves as the principal of our schools on both the Eden and Jericho campuses. He has been a full-time educator since 1982, working as a teacher then as an administrator in public and private school in Missouri, Arkansas, and Tennessee. He and his wife, Jamie, have two sons, both of whom have families, and three grandchildren.
His passion for his work at Youth Town is to model the love of Christ to every student every day in a way points our children to a closer walk with God the Father. Gatlin is proud of the significant number of students who earn either a traditional high school diploma or a HiSet diploma while a Youth Town resident.
Scott serves as a shepherd and is a member of the praise team at his church in Jackson. He and his family enjoy outdoor activities in every season, and most value the days that the entire family can be together.
