At The Refuge, outpatient counseling is the day-to-day management of our mental health. Outpatient counseling can focus on anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, addiction, as well as a variety of other mental health struggles. We want to walk alongside clients as they discover their power in managing their mental health, provide strategies and coping skills, and help them understand the connections of their history, biology, psychology, and environment. Treatment can be both short-term or long-term and is a decision led by the client, with support from the therapist. Outpatient therapy is a chance for a client to explore their story in a healthy, safe environment and work on writing their future story in a healthy and balanced way.
The Refuge of Youth Town offers professional treatment services for co-occurring mental health disorders. We seek irreversible life change in children, adolescents, and adults through services that are gender-responsive, empirically informed, family-focused, and thoroughly Christ-centered.
The Refuge of Youth Town provides a secure environment for every client to find hope and healing through the unconditional love of Christ as they embark on a journey of healthy living.
